Wood decks in Central Oregon don't age well. Between the UV at elevation, the dry summers, and the temperature swings from Bend to La Pine, pressure-treated lumber cracks, fades, and needs restaining every couple of years. Trex composite decking doesn't. We design and build Trex deck systems that are built to spec, properly framed, and installed to manufacturer standards — so the warranty actually holds.
Why Central Oregon Homeowners Switch to Composite
No More Restaining
• Wood decks in Bend need staining or sealing every 2–3 years• Composite: wash it once a year with a hose, done• Saves hundreds in maintenance over the life of the deck
UV Resistant at Elevation
• Bend sits at 3,600 ft — more UV than the coast• Untreated wood bleaches gray in one summer• Trex ColorFast technology holds color for decades
Handles the Temperature Swings
• Central Oregon sees 90°+ summers and freezing winters• Wood expands, contracts, and eventually warps or splinters• Composite is engineered to handle the range — no cupping, no cracking
Safer Surface
• Wood splinters. Composite doesn't.• Slip-resistant surface texture on most Trex profiles• Better for kids, pets, and barefoot summer evenings
Choose Your Deck System
Trex comes in three main lines. We'll walk you through the differences — here's the short version.
Railing That Finishes the Build
The right railing makes or breaks the look. We install three railing systems depending on your style and budget.
The Product Is Only As Good As the Install
Trex's warranty requires proper subframe spacing, correct fastener type, and adequate ventilation under the boards. A lot of crews skip the details — wrong joist spacing, improper gapping, no ventilation — and the boards still look fine on day one. Three years later, they're buckling. We build the frame right the first time. That means your deck performs the way Trex engineered it to, and your warranty is actually valid.

Here's How It Works
Step 1 — Free On-Site Estimate
We come to your property, look at the existing structure (if there is one), and talk through what you want. No showroom, no sales pitch. Just a straight conversation about scope and budget.
Step 2 — Design & Material Selection
We'll walk you through the Trex line options and railing systems that fit your style. We bring samples so you can see the color in your actual light before you commit.
Step 3 — Framing & Build
Demo of old deck if needed, then new subframe built to Trex spec. Boards installed with hidden fasteners. Railing system set, leveled, and secured.
Step 4 — Final Walkthrough
We walk it with you before we call it done. You check every detail. We're not off the job until it's right.
